What to Expect at Your Photoshoot

Maternity Photoshoots

We have everything you will need to make this a comfortable, beautiful experience.

Best Time for a Maternity Photoshoot

Book your session between 34–38 weeks of pregnancy.

Session Length

Approximately 30 minutes.

Outfit Options

Borrow any of our studio gowns featured in the gallery. Or choose your own outfits—pastel tones are most flattering, but bold colours can look stunning too!

Locations

Held in our Flagstone Studio or on location in Brisbane, Gold Coast, or Logan.

Hair and Makeup

Do your own, or for an additional fee, a professional hair and makeup artist can be available an hour before your session.

Addressing Concerns

Feeling less than radiant? Don’t worry—Kylie will guide you through poses that make you feel confident and beautiful.

Newborn Sessions

Welcome your little one with a photoshoot to treasure forever.

Best Time for a Newborn Photoshoot

Within the first 14 days of life, when babies are most settled and easier to photograph.

Tentative Booking

Book during your first trimester, and we’ll finalize the date after your baby arrives.

Locations

In-studio at Flagstone or home sessions for families unable to travel.

Timing

Sessions are held in the morning, around 9:30 AM, when babies are happiest and indoor lighting is best.

What We Provide

All props, blankets, and wraps are supplied, but feel free to bring sentimental items.

Tips for Parents

Dress in light, breathable clothing—the studio will be warm to keep your baby comfortable.

Siblings

If older siblings attend, consider bringing another parent or grandparent to keep them entertained after their photos are taken.

Family Portrait Sessions

Family sessions are all about fun, laughter and connection!

Locations

On location at a nature location of your choice like fields, rolling hills, the beach or even a meaniful or historic building. In-studio is an option for smaller family groups.

Weather Flexibility

Bad weather? No problem—we can reschedule.

Our journey begins with a chat! After exploring our website, call Kylie at 0448 308 838 to discuss your vision. We’ll talk about outfits, locations, and how to showcase your beautiful new artwork. Bring your ideas, and even a photo of your wall where your masterpiece will hang, to help us create artwork tailored to your space. If you’re planning a business photoshoot we’ll go over how and where you plan to use your photos.

Book Your Session

Once your date is locked in, we’ll send you an email packed with everything you need—studio details, outfit tips, and a fun family questionnaire. This helps us capture the small things that make your family truly special. Spend time with your loved ones filling it out for a more personalised experience!

Photoshoot Day

The big day is here! Whether at our Flagstone studio or one of our gorgeous locations in South East Queensland, we keep things fun and relaxed. From playful games to candid moments, we focus on creating authentic images you’ll treasure forever.

Relax While We Print

After the photoshoot, you can sit back, relax and enjoy a complimentary beverage while we edit and print. Trust us! We are so good, it won’t be long before you are heading home with your beautiful new photos.
